Is it possible......
Non DH league so for Collins to hit in a 2 out runners in scoring position the pitcher would most times have to come up with one out and bunt the runner over. That is assuming most pitchers are not going to be swinging away and advancing runners with hits.
Cobb hitting third is never going to hit in clutch position in first inning.
If one of the 3 speedsters gets on and steals second with the other 2 making outs then cleanup hitter gets a shot. If 2 of those first 4 get hits then 5th place slot gets a clutch opp.
Most likely batting order spots to get clutch opps are 4th, 5th and 6th. I only checked one game but those slots ere filled you Young, Aparicio, and Donlin. Coincidentally the top 3 on your team in clutch opps. Though a bit surprising it was as extreme as what your team results show.
Might be worth keeping note of on teams where you are mixing clutch.
