100 MIL, DH, 5-10-20 drop, frenzy
12 team league, regular 2014 player set (no unleashed players)
Divisions to be randomized

Here is how it works: There are 30 MLB teams, and each team is divided into a pitchers grouping and
a position players grouping so there are 60 possible groupings. We will run a 5 round draft in serpentine order (except for round 5) so each manager will select 5 groupings. For example, you could draft the Angels hitters, which would
give you exclusive draft rights to Trout, Aybar, Kendrick and Pujols etc.. but NOT the Angel pitchers like G. Richards, or Joe Smith.

Each manager will own exclusive drafting rights to the players from their selected 5 team groupings. It does not matter if you draft more hitter groupings or pitcher groupings as long as you can meet SOM minimum roster requirements. At all times your roster must be comprised exclusively of players from your selected team groupings or players acquired via trade.

Trades are allowed in this league. Please post all trades on the league message board to help us enforce roster compliance.

We will randomize to determine the draft order for the 12 managers. With a 5 round draft, even if you draft late you
are likely to get the only usable players left by the 5th round to compensate. Rounds 1-4 are serpentine order, for competitive balance round 5, will go in reverse, or the manager who selected last in round 1 will go first in round 5.

Pick a home ball park that corresponds with one of the 5 team groupings you selected.

Just a suggestion: a 5 round serpentine draft would give the first pickers a solid advantage over the last pickers. Is there any possible way to have a 6th round pick over something--ballparks?--to make up for it?

You are right about the advantage of being, an early drafter.. I forgot to mention the 5th round is bottom to top, to balance the advantage of drafting early... So rounds 1-4 are serpentine. Round 5 will be the 12th manager goes first, the 11th manager goes second etc...
