yeah, trout was definitely under consideration between the position deficit and the cost I figured Cano was the right guy. Honestly I've been studying for my FTF draft so I haven't spent enough time looking at possible combinations to really know. Given that I figured not backing myself into a corner was a good thing.

Zim then Hawk. :)

At the start of the draft, I had no visions of Trout falling to me at the 12th spot. However, I had hope after Joe passed on him.

I thought at 5 I might have a shot at Kershaw... Then seen he went 1st. Joe passing on trout for Cano gave me hope than for trout, and Abreu being taken then also... With Trout falling to me, I don't see how I coulda picked someone else. Truly, everybody else was not even in consideration anymore with Trout still there.

Hey Guys,

Great convo about the picks; just a reminder, don't mention the names (or parks) that have not been taken yet. It's just bad form.

As for Trout, he was definitely considered along with one other player, but Cano was the man for the reasons I stated above. Semper only in your fantasy dreams was Trout ever going to get to you at 12! ;)

Sent an email this evening to everyone who hasn't checked in yet. Hopefully this will get things moving a bit.

Hey Zim,

$80 mil. In case anyone is wondering, the details are always in the first post of the thread (or thereabouts).

Glad you're back. :)

Hopefully Hawk has awakened from his winter slumber and will grace us with his presence soon. ;) 8-)

Up to the Spider Man.

I was wondering when McCutchen would go. Does it seem to you guys that the draft is deeper this year than the last couple?

So much for Michael Brantley falling into my pocket too. :x

I had Trout, McCutchen, and then Brantley ready to sign contracts. Now it's off to perfect Plan C!

I set McCutcheon as my 1st proxy after Joe picked. Was surprised to get him 6 picks later.
