With Brantley a distant memory, I debated a few combinations and then settled upon Beltre and Puig. I couldn't go cheap seeing a few $10m+ guys fell further than expected.

I could blame Joe here as he started the bargain hunting with the Cano selection.

The 2nd round is shaping out to being close to Joker's Wild with a reliever finding its way onto a roster.

Even before the days of the "over used" reliever, I struggle to recall one taken before the 4th round. We'll see if Joe jumps and takes a reliever now.

Nope, didn't take a RP. Went with a 1b/3b/DH. Been an interesting draft so far with the new guys throwing some curves at us.

I'm curious why you stayed in the IF where the OF cards seem less deep?

Probably because I haven't studied the cards close enough.

I like Cano/Cabrera back-to-back in the lineup. Felt he was as good a RHB as I'm going to get right now. Don't know, I may just suck.

My assessment is 1b is deeper than the corner OF slots. Interstingly, CF has more options than past years if your park appetite is conservative.

I know I missed it somewhere, but what is the salary cap?
