Hmmm......Methinks that SOM has decided against issuing manager ratings as promised, and has decided not to tell us such for fear of community backlash and by remaining silent it hopes that the issue will just fade away.

I'm guessing-
Number of teams,
Winning %
Playoff teams
Championships
Anything else?
And why couldn't we just do this ourselves for ATG7 and 8?
However, if SOM does finally get around to issuing manager ratings, in addition to including a breakdown as set forth above by CTStough, I'd like the manager ratings to include, as they have in the past, a breakdown of the above info by player set, such as '70s, '80s, '90s, ATG1, ATG2, ATG3 (all versions) ATG4, etc., etc., the annual seasonal game by season (2009, 2010, 2011, etc., etc.). Also, in addition to playoff teams and championships, the number of Finals made should also be included.
If SOM plans to keep its word and issue manager ratings, it is beyond me why they have failed to do so by now. Although I'm no computer expert, it would seem that the basic program for such ratings has already been created, so the wheel would not have to be reinvented, as SOM claimed with the live draft, and that it's just a matter of sorting available data to arrive at ratings.
How about it, John Garcia, where are the manager ratings? Your silence on this issue has been deafening!
