Pitcher does not face a batter

I am not sure what happened here. In the top of the 7th Adam Wainright got injured for 1 game. Brad Boxberger was brought in then immediately replaced with Carlos Torres.

Boxberger came in to the game and did not pitch to anyone before being removed. I thought they had to pitch to someone before being removed.

had to be some kind of hal glitch. laughingly it actually happened 2 years ago in a mlb game.

That is a programming screw up plain and simple--needs to be reported to S-O-M.

The injury should be processed first, before the substitution--if this can be fixed in the AI (HAL manager)--a lot of HAL problems--like remove for defense when no one is left at that position, and double switch screw-ups with no-DH leagues (when a guy pinch hit and should go in for defense in the pitcher hole, but hal pulls another player and puts him in the pitcher slot) may be related issues.

I would email Strat support and include the URL to the game.

This is a good catch and an odd bug that we haven't seen before. However we will look into it and correct anything we find. Thanks for reporting it and if you see anything else odd please let us know!
