As to my leaving, since you and others are so invested in my staying, I will stay. As I said before, I will only address posts about tournament policies or to (or about) me. So, I'm sure we'll be talking soon. Good luck in the tournament.

I know many of you gather here to watch the daily l.strether sock puppet show. Unfortunately, l.strether will not be joining us here until after April 10th, as he will be enjoying a much needed break.

I want to take this opportunity to truly encourage your full input into this year's tour. Your questions and comments are valuable to me as commissioner, and to your fellow managers who might be sharing the same unspoken questions and concerns. While I don't foresee any wholesale changes to this year's tour at this time, I truly welcome your unreserved input. You will not be sucked into the l.strether clown show that inevitably results whenever someone asks a simple question and gets a simple answer.

Lastly, let's not use this forum for your l.strether directed comments. If he decides to do so, he will be back here (in time). Let me worry about that. Let's just enjoy two weeks of unobstructed tour talk from here on out.

Will there be a spreadsheet showing the BPs everyone has used?

While I planned to monitor ballpark usage, I didn't have any "formal" plans. Can you point me to an example, or, what did you have in mind?

I think ballparks should be the responsibility of the manager. Would managers prefer some sort of "reminder" thread?

No, that's fine as long as you're monitoring BP usage. Keep it simple.

My plan was to record the ballparks in a Word document on my computer. I can always cut and paste this and put it in a thread. However, for now, let's just say that ballpark usage remains the sole responsibility of the manager. If I can get a ballpark thread up to help, I'll try and do that.

Any thoughts of continuing point accumulation through the semi's? That might allow for some seeding shuffling of the final 12, rather than freezing the points after the 5 events.

I love keyzick's suggestion above. Semi final results should be added to points accumulated during the regular season when determining Finals seeding.

I'm inclined to agree with this, and sort of surprised we haven't visited it previously.

However, I am going to let this one sit at least through the weekend and maybe a bit into the week ahead to give everyone ample time to provide more support or a relevant counterpoint.
