New League: 1940-1969

Only players who have a card between the years 1940-1969 inclusive are eligible. This includes the NeL guys. You may use any of a player's cards as long as he has one between 1940-1969. Even your scrubeenie guys must conform to this rule.

Does this mean the Card that we use has to be 1940 - 1969 or can we use any cards of a player that played for that franchise as long as that player played during that era?

You can use ANY cards of a player as long as he has one between 1940-1969. Reggie Jackson has a 1969 card, so he qualifies; but, you can use his 1973, 1980, or 1982 cards as well.

And we have to use the 1957 version of these stadiums/fields, right?

included in the online game? Are complete 1957 teams for all franchises
also included?

Yes, we have to use the 1957 stadiums exclusively. Each of us has a stadium already assigned to them.

No complete 1957 teams are included as far as I know.

We have all of the 1911, 1941, 1957, and 2005 stadiums. I think these seasons were just randomly selected (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Is this to protect players on your roster that have played with other franchises - like if he were eligible for this league
Frank Thomas of the White Sox - also played with the A's. I want to make sure. How is the draft order going to be determined- like this Chicago Team is pretty thin in a few positions

I'm good with a four round snake draft on the boards to kick it off.

Also, my understanding is that the only limitation on players is that they have at least one card from 1940 - 1969 or can be any NeL player. Just because I have Forbes field and must identify my team as Pittsburgh, I can draft Yankees or Cubs or any player that either did or didn't play for Pittsburgh.

Looking forward to it! Except that I'm not crazy about having Forbes 57 with those limitations. But it will test my resourcefulness.
