I nominated Billy and voted for him. Why? He's versatile in the infield (at least by his 1970 fielding 2B, 3B, SS) he has speed, good OBP, occasional power. If he's not too overpriced he'll be good for 60-70M leagues and maybe 80M. I'd just like to see some players in the ATG set for the lower salary caps because I'm CHEAP!

Also, I'm nominating Roger Freed in the next addition just to be a stick in the mud... or manure..

I am nominating the 1996 Rudy Pemberton. He raked that year. We have to have him! A must have for ATG.
Check out the numbers:
AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS
41 11 21 8 0 1 10 3 1 2 4 .512 .556 .780 1.336

Chuck,
I'm not attacking you by any means. :D

I'm just curious as to why. I can understand your point to a degree.

Looking down the list of guy @ 2B, under $6million...

Lazzeri, Carew, Sweeney, Dihigo, Doerr, Bishop, Dandridge, Roberts, Doran etc...

IMO and we've all got one, it just doesn't seem like a pressing need. I mainly play in team based them leagues. I do dabble in regular leagues, though not many. IDK, I'm just frustrated that there are franchises that need help and would make team based leagues a little more fun, and we get Billy Grabarkewitz.

Like I've said time and time again, I think we should vote on players who we want. Say like 40 players. And Strat should just add ALL 40 guys, instead of voting again for a lower #. And maybe they could then add those 40 players before the end of the year...

Oh, I didn't take it as an attack. Not at all. I'd just like to see some players suitable for the lower leagues once in a while and pitchers fitting into a 5-man rotation. I tried a 5-man rotation once in a while, tried to get the S7/R3 guys to pitch a few innings in relief, hardly ever happened. Dang it. :x How the heck do you do it??

Not one pitcher was in the latest addition. Could we find a few who would fit into the lower $$$ leagues if not over-priced? I'll find a few...

i'm w/ Chuck1234, i was going to nominate Grabarkewitz, but he beat me to it, and I did vote for him. i recall he had a decent ut IF card w/ some pop.

judging from bbref, he was on his way to being a good player and got hurt in '71

should fit in with the '70s Dodgers in large cap franchise leagues as a DH or UT.

forewarned - gonna start agitating for a Billy Buck who hits .300 next ballot. that card of his from the '86 RSox does not do him justice.

I'd love to see the Billy Buck card when he was a 1 in LF! :)
