When are we getting this league going?

Welcome Back Niner. I hope your batteries are recharged.

I have posted the 1st Round draft order in a separate thread and Ernie (who will be busy in the first two rounds) can start us off at any time.

There will be no clock for the first round, that will be followed by a 2 hour clock for all subsequent rounds between the hours of 10 AM and 11 PM. I am also going to keep the clock on 7 days and not turn it off for the weekend. We have 15 rounds to get through and I don't want it to drag on and on.

Please let me know if you have serious objections to this.

I also do not do an Availables list, but anyone can feel free to compile one and send it out. Otherwise, you are on your own. Reminder, "players must have a current TSN SOM players card to be eligible for the draft".

I'd be willing to compile an availables list but only if I have a a current rosters (that is rosters after cuts) with full names and positions to work from.


I have SERIOUS, STRENUOUS objections to this for weekends. It's family time and I'm generally able to check in once and a while, but clock would NOT be my preference. People travel, (especially this weekend as it's the end or school spring break for most), have plans etc. REALLY prefer no clock on weekends, even though I'm not likely to miss slot.

I am not fond of a clock on weekends especially the first weekend of draft when we just started on Friday, a number of people might not realize draft is even started until we get into the weekend

Well, there is no clock for the first round, so it shouldn't really be an issue this weekend. Even so, I won't institute any clock until Monday morning at 10 AM EST. We will then have the week to evaluate and I'll leave any decision on the weekend til later in the week.

Gentlemen - I have some movable pieces that have tremendous value - Werth, N. Cruz, and possibly A. Jones (would take a major offer for him). I could use upgrades at 3B and SS, possibly C, and I could use RPs or upcoming FA picks. LMK if your interested.
