For the managers who already have their teams entered, feel free to PM the members missing from your leagues and track them down however you can!

In the process of creating a missing persons list, I discovered earl61222 was inadvertently entered twice (in leagues 7 and 8). Not sure if he just signed in twice or if I made a mistake, but, regardless...

Earl, if you see this please enter your team into league 7.

League 8 managers, you may be disbanded and placed into other leagues if the number of no-shows remains this high. Please be ready to move your teams Thursday-Friday (if necessary).

I noticed the 3 missing manager from league 2 that I pm'd have very few posts...have a feeling they'll be no shows.

There are quite a few vets on the bad boys list, too.

It's like herding cats, Jeff. Maybe worse. It's why I don't do live drafts, as much as I enjoy them.

Breaking up the last league (or two) Thursday and combining them with the rest seems like a good idea. It's still random, and you won't find anybody cherry picking this year.

Thanks Edge! Yes, to me, randomness is what I'm looking for to keep things as fair as possible. Using the league randomizer or shuffler also helps take ME out of the equation, somewhat.

Looking ahead, because we only have a 5-7 day window to enter a team, I might try just going with a "first come, first served" sign-up for Event 2. Because you only have the choice of playing on one or two start dates, you can't afford to wait too long to join a league. And the league randomizer will give any 12 managers a fair shuffle besides.

We'll see...at this point I've actually already heard from several no-shows who have every intention of getting in as soon as they can...let's see how things sit come Thursday.
