You may be onto something there, considering I sent you and qksilver proxies and neither of you posted them when I went on the clock.

So was a decision made on clock or no clock for weekends?

No clock this weekend, though I reserve the right to put one in place next weekend if we are dragging.

On the plus side, Michael checked in and made his 4 picks.

On the minus side, we have not had one other pick made all weekend.

I am not in favor of this going on for two more weeks, so I am giving notice now that if we do not complete prior to next weekend, I will carry the clock through next weekend as well until the draft is completed.

I recognize all the objections to a weekend clock, but we need to pick up the pace and get this done.

I was curious if we actually are having a slow draft so I looked at some other KL's I'm in to see how long it took to get to 93 picks.

GMKL - 7 days 4 hrs
USKL3 - 8 days
Pre-Card - 6 days 18 hrs
HCKL - 4 days 12 hrs

We took 7 days and 10 hrs. Not unreasonable. I have no problem with a weekend clock though. Those who time out during the week will time out on the weekend. Those who don't send proxies during the week won't send proxies on the weekend. At least the draft won't come to a crashing halt, which is boring.

I don't know about pre-card, but those other drafts were not 15 rounds or more like this one is. As reluctant as I am to have a clock on weekends I'm absolutely stunned we've had essentially zero picks since Friday night.

I was all for giving people the courtesy of having the weekend off, but given how this draft has gone, I'm now of a complete opposite mind set.

Put the clock on. If people can't/won't leave proxies or check in, screw 'em.

The times I posted for the other leagues were to make 93 picks, which is where we are. So up until this weekend we've been moving along at an average clip.
