I'm not too excited that the cap may dip down to 100 mil. I agree we shouldn't have our premier talent drained by expensive benchs and we shouldn't have depowered unauthentic benches either. How about a higher cap? We could do it for all teams or even for just the Negro Leagues teams.

Shouldn't this be the best talent vs the best talent? That's what a draft is all about. Supply and demand to the point of equilibrium. Now, I don't know if we'll have that or what that is, but this league looks to be freaking great!

nels52 - welcome back into the fold. Appreciate your take, not sure how much you read back posts but in order for this league to work we have to avoid the MLB teams loading up on top pitching and 9 mil mashers up and down the lineup. That coupled with the desire to keep the rosters as pure as possible has led us to the 100 mil cap. Hey this is our first run at this, we will definitely know more as we get into this thing. And who knows, maybe we can use this season as a push for expanded NeL cards or at least pure RP cards.
