PROSPECT DRAFT:
2) Effective with the 2012 season, we will hold a prospect draft after the annual free agent draft, with managers drafting up to 2 prospects per year -- prospects are those players who have never received a card yet and draft sequence will be random and serpentine.

We have our numbers:

10, 7, 5, 9, 2, 3, 1, 11, 12, 4, 8, 6

This is probably one of the more mind-boggling rules in any league I'm in -- and especially difficult on Friday evening! -- but here's the randomized and serpentined prospect draft sequence:

Guys, I appreciate your patience with me, so very much.

I am battling the final countdown on the April 30 canadian personal tax filing deadline. (I'm a tax accountant, up to my armpits in tax returns).

I appreciate Willmurr's willingness to let me reverse my mistake, when I thought HE was trading Bryant to ME! I guess I need to not fire off replies quickly in tax season!!!!

I'm sorry guys, but I'm going to follow the "draft and develop" strategy that my favourite Winnipeg NHL hockey team is doing in the NHL. I really want to try to make good draft picks and let the guys develop. I will be attempting to draft young. I won't be trading up in age - just down. I want my team to be young, with lots of potential.

I did a poor job drafting last year this time. I hope to do much better this year.

I really don't want to trade Bryant (thanks again Willmurr!), or probably any other young talent. In any case, I won't even be able to think clearly until sometime after April 30, and maybe a few days after that. Nevertheless, I will try to be a better member of this excellent group, starting right now, today!
