Can someone explain the SPs? Can we not have any SPs under 3m? Rules say 5th starter must be 3m but does that mean we cannot have any SPs under 3m?

Andy, I think you can spend any amount you want on your first 4 SP, within the parameters already listed - $77 million for your 8 position players AND your first 4 SPs.

Since the 3 mil min for the 5th starter was to avoid parking a .50 mil SP so more $$ could be applied to hitters, which was something the NeL teams wouldn't have the luxury of doing, if we don't apply that to the other SP's it seems to me we'd be creating that same advantage, so while it wasn't clearly pointed out that all SP's had to be greater than 3 mil that was the intent.

So I guess a modification to the player parameters should be:
All SP's for MLB teams need to be greater than 3 mil.

Any feedback to the contrary?

Donald has both a relief card and a SP card, so since we can't draft relievers until later, I assume that Atley will be used as a 6th starter/reliever, for he's ineligible to be used as a 5th starter, since he only cost $2.45 mil and the relief only card can't be drafted now, since we can't draft relievers until later.
