on a seperate not...what happened to "random and serpentine" on prospect draft?

and beyond that, to the competition commitee, the "random" aspect doesn't seem to be helping us lesser lights that occupy the west and occasional central promotion. the teams struggling can't seem to get much better if the east juggernauts also have as good a chance at getting high picks in the prospect, especially considering we didn't include "yet to play in a MLB game" so future stars are already up and eligible.

those of us peons in the lower realms need to unite and make prospect draft sequence same as FA

Prospect draft IS random and serpentine. You would have had pick #2 except you traded it away.

Free agent draft follows the prospect draft in this league. Please hold those FA picks until the prospect draft is completed.

Hey guys,

I am not in a hurry to make this pick. Would prefer to trade this and willing to trade any of my first five FA picks in the right deal.

Looking to rebuild so offers with stud prospects not yet in the majors are welcome. Young SP wlecome but if you want the first he must have at least some track record of success in the majors.

Was planning on this starting on May 1 and with too much to do at work did not do much homework yet. If I don't get any good offers I will make the pick tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks,

JMP

I can do this by Monday night, maybe sooner, just need a confirmation on the draft rules: any player that has never been carded, right?

Yes, "prospects are those players who have never received a card yet"

I am confused by the google docs roster page listing for Buxton and Correa, and the designations "NO" and "CD." What is the status of those guys (eg why are they not in the prospects rows).

You can promote a prospect or a player that don't have a card. It uses space in your 30 active roster. We had that discussion a year ago.
