I'm not getting any exciting offers for the #1 pick. And considering that I was hoping to get Pederson or Bryant, and they just both done got gotten elsewhere...I'll just pick. I'll be happy to trade him still. I have the A-Train at ss and don't imagine I'll have much use for another ss for many years.

sent alk an offer of 79th pick, which as far as I can tell is valid. I did not make an illegal trade...I had the pick when I made it...I should have known better than to add four additional picks in the first two rounds to invalidate my 8th rounder.

Sadly, #79 is not valid unless you give an earlier pick to someone else.
