Are you in the SOMworld Facebook group or the Strat-o-magic Facebook book group? I am and see everyday guys posting about their replays of this season or that season, asking questions about where to find info for lineups etc. so their replays can be historically accurate. You are right here in online Strat works we don't play complete teams. But to say others do 't or that's it's a tiny minority is not accurate from the evident e I've seen.
As for clutch have 't you noticed guys hat have high hit counts on their cards or put simply, guys wig high batting averages tend to lose in there clutch way more than gain? (There are exceptions of course, always are). And guys with low batting average but high rbi totals van in the clutch ( the infamous Pedro Feliz card from 2003 or 2004 is a perfect example)
I know I'll never convince you your view is incorrect if nothing else you've proven time and again you'll defend your position to the hilt. So you keep believing what you want and I'll keep believing what I want. With both be happier that way.
1. I never said most managers don't play real teams. That's a false straw man of your creation. I said many managers don't; and they don't. That also wasn't my main point. My main correct point is you have no evidentiary or syllogistic support for your claim SOM alters its players' defense ratings to replicate team results. So that claim is still supposition.
2. None of the suppositions you offered in any way supports your claim SOM had to alter full players' cards to non-clutch for rib reasons. They're just interesting suppositions.
3. Actually, you defend your positions "to the hilt." I just logically defend mine. I do, however, believe we should just keep to our beliefs and not bring up the subject again.
