with the w.sox locked out of Jackson and Collins it seems as though that the W.sox Royal combo is much less competitive than all the other combos any thoughts. Bill

You're right, 1787.

Maybe, when harry makes the list of excluded players (guys with higher priced cards on non base franchises), he leaves off Collins and possibly Wilhelm and essentially assigns them back to the White Sox.

Gentlemen, I think you are correct; when you go through the rosters at length, as we are all doing now, it does seem the Chisox/Royals is a little short of ammunition. I like the idea of pulling Collins and Wilhelm out of the restricted list and assigning them to the Sox/Royals. The extra FA pick is also intriguing; what I will do, unless anyone has a vehement objection, is to assign Wilhelm and Collins to the Chisox, with the proviso that the owner can choose to make an extra FA pick instead of Collins. (Since they will have Fox, the owner may choose this option.) This would be the 13th FA pick, right after the 12th, which is mine.

I'm a little reluctant to adjust on the fly, but I hope all will agree that it is warranted in the interest of fairness.

Do these adjustments seem fair - and sufficient?

I'm fine with that proposed adjustment --

Or --

Possible to allow eventual owner of White Sox to pick a different EXP franchise that has not been already assigned, and throw back KC Royals? For example, toss back Royals and take Blue Jays.

Thanks for your thoughts, gents.

Joey's idea is also intriguing, but I think taking the entire Blue Jays is materially changing the concept; it's different than just adjusting the rosters a bit. I'll stay with the plan outlined above.
