I am glad you enjoyed it! I figured it would be okay after you posted this in another thread:

Relax, Coyote. I've never seen a grown man get so worked-up in anxious anticipation of reaction to their silliness. I think it's all quite cute.

So, carry on, kid.

Even your misinterpretations are cute. I never told you to hypocritically instigate after crying so much about forum behavior. if you really care about that, you'd stick to discussing the subject. But if you want to keep proving your hypocrisy, I'm fine with that, too... ;)

Secondly, continued patronage of a business hardly makes someone a die-hard customer. Like many others, I have patronized Target, 7-11, and Starbuck's (less so) for many years as well. That doesn't make me a die-hard customer of those businesses either.

Please tell me if you need clarifications of further words or phrases. I'd be glad to oblige... 8-)

Apparently I need more words or phrases so that I am sure of what you are attempting to convey. Are you a die hard because you have apparently been playing online SOM for 15 years or less committed even though you obviously are on this site for much of each day? :?

I'm going to be frank with you, Randi. I just came back from a conference with intelligent, well-educated, thoughtful people. So, I have particularly little time for your trolling, antagonistic "discourse." So, I'm saying goodbye, putting you on ignore, and wishing you well.

Before I go, I will make a few points:

1. You can't go around criticizing others' posts then proceed to make antagonizing troll posts like your last two. It makes you look foolish.

2. I made clear how I'm not a die-hard customer. As usual, you just didn't read my post well.

3. I made two responses to two antagonizing posts during a one-hour office hour. If you want to consider that being on the site most of the day, knock yourself out. Considering your numerous posts today, you might reconsider... ;)

P.s. Here's one of my first teams; maybe you'll learn something:

My posts have not been antagonizing to anyone that I know of. Asking for clarification of unclear posts is antagonizing?

You apparently are proud to NOT be called a die hard customer and attempt to put me down because I have made more than one post today. You are not putting me down Mr. Strether. I am not embarrassed to say that ever since my very first team many years ago I have never been without an active team or teams and yes I do check in multiple times per day generally. I enjoy the game experience. I enjoy the strategy of finding different ways to win. I enjoy the many online friends I have made along the way. Call me a die hard as a put down if you like.

If you don't enjoy the online SOM game like I do then go right ahead to some other online baseball site that you were referencing earlier. What is stopping you? :geek:

I could really use a free credit too. But, doubt they would consider doing that. :D http://oi57.tinypic.com/33axa3c.jpg

SOM currently has almost 5800 registered members on the board. Here's the top 10 members in TOTAL POSTS (this is since the transition from TSN to SOM):

Ninersphan - 4068
tcochran - 3942
edub1969 - 2742
gbrookes - 2739
andycummings65 - 2721
visick- 2656
Roscodog - 1986
LMBombers - 1778
Valen - 1713
l.strether - 1517

Most of the members that I am familiar with in the 1-9 slots often serve as commissioner in leagues, are or were moderators, or are very actively involved in long term theme and keeper leagues.

Cheers to the DIEHARDS for making the SOM Online game much more fun!!!!

Robby, if you want to think I'm a diehard, knock yourself out. There is nothing wrong with being a die-hard SOM manager. "Die-hard" literally means "strongly or fanatically determined or devoted." That could apply to most of us, including you, depending on the various standards of "fanatically determined or devoted" we use. So, you should probably start a thread to determine those standards.

As to my posts, as I showed earlier, I have been here for 15 years. So, of course I have a lot of posts. And not all the people you mentioned--particularly Valen--have been primarily commissioners or moderators. That's a gross exaggeration on your part. Moderators don't even post that much, and Bombers hasn't been a moderator for a while...which is quite relieving.

And finally, who is or who isn't a die-hard isn't the point of this thread. It's about whether or not SOM should compensate its members, and whether its customer service has been adequate or not. I've pointed out how it hasn't. And I may be a die-hard, who knows, but even I have grown tired of their poor customer service, as have others.

P.s. There's nothing more die-hard than actually looking up who the top ten posters are... ;)

I have been here since inception in 2002. I used to be very active on the boards when TSN was running the show. But after the switch, my life simultaneously became very challenged as far as work and family life. And I just kinda faded. I don't remember what year SOM made the switch. But I remember that 2008 was the year my life turned upside down and sideways. But I have noticed that the boards have become pretty quiet since then. Just my 2 cents. ;)

The switch was Aug 2012 as can be determined by looking at the joined date under our names on all of our posts. Also, it looks like RobertLatorre's number of posts statistics are from this (SOM) site only and not including the TSN forum posts.
