Where did all the 80's managers go?...

PostWed May 06, 2015 9:12 am

Itching to do an 80's Mystery team, but I hardly see any action among 80's mystery card owners....where did everyone go?

80's used to be THE game a few years ago....

A few years ago it was the only mystery card game in town. Now it is the one with the most shallow player pool and card pricing that is like a 100M team in any other league. There needs to be a player infusion and salary adjustment. Such an upgrade would bring new life to this old game.

For me anyway, the newness of the 60s game hasn't worn off yet and is still my current favorite followed by 70s, then 80s and 90s is my least favorite.

Can't seem to master the 60's - while its my favorite decade, it seems there isn't a deep pool of players when you have to make mid-season moves.....

I played the 80's so many times, I can draft a team from memory.
I like the 70's a lot. The 60's are also fun.
I find there are so many good players in the 90's(Gee. I wonder why :)
that isn't really a challenge to find the players you want. Nomar isn't even
close to being the best player. He'd be a 15 Million dollar player in the 70's league.

I'm back after a no kidding 10 year hiatus.

I've gone from single dude to married dude to watching the wife give birth to 2 children, a move from Europe to the States, and 2 years in Afghanistan...

In other words, I let life interrupt my love for the 80s game!
