It sure would be nice if everyone could pick eligible players for a change, get the rest of the picks (37) done today and get our teams entered by Friday night so that we could start on Monday. It will be 4 weeks on Friday, May 8, since we started this process. This is worse than trying to play chess (or SOM baseball) by mail. We've had 4 threads and have drafted about 180 players in 4 weeks, an abysmal average of less than 7 players a day. Let's move this thing along.

This is dragging on ... over very weak pickings, given the quality of the remaining pitchers. Why not autodraft the rest? Unless it's going to really mess with someone's team strategy. Seems silly to take days to draft a .90 reliever.

Agreed enough already, let's get this season going!

nels sorry to do this on your pick but its been a bit. nels' next pick will be the last and we'll fill out the rest of the rosters through the AD. I'll go ahead and set up the league. Keep in mind we need to load by division, I'll have all that info restated in my next post.

Just for clarity, what reserves can the NeL teams choose? There aren't enough position players in that league for all of us to fill out our benches, and six of my starting position players can go down for the max. What's the most do I have to spend on them and what's the least? Thanks.

All teams need to adhere to the 23 mil bench requirement. The AD will create some challenges I'm sure, so your continued patience is needed thanks! NeL teams, with the limited bench players available go ahead a draft two non-NeL players less than 1.5 mil, the rest should be from the NeL or from the list of eligible MLB players.

• 100 mil cap
• 23 mil min must be used for all Bench, Relievers and 5th SP (even after dropping down to 24 if desired). Which will leave 77 mil max for your 4 other SP’s and 8 Starting Position players
• All MLB Players must be carded for the years 1920 to 1955, except for those assigned to the NeL, which are limited to the years assigned
• MLB teams are allowed only 1 player at $10 mil or above
• Pure Relief pitchers must cost $2.73 mil or less
• Only two Bench players below $1.5 mil allowed. The remaining bench guys must average over $3 mil. NeL teams, with the limited bench players available, go ahead and draft two non-NeL players less than 1.5 mil, the rest should be from the NeL or from the list of eligible MLB players.

• All SP’s on MLB teams must be greater than $3 mil
• NeL teams must draft a NeL 5th SP. If a NeL team chooses to carry a 10th Pitcher and that pitcher has a SP rating it can be from the NeL or the MLB set. BUT staying with the intent of this league, that 10th Pitcher value IF FROM THE MLB SET cannot exceed the value of your 5th SP on a NeL team.
* Remember 4 of your RP’s must be pure RP, no SP rating. Your 5th SP can have a RP rating as well as your 5th RP.
