Screw Your Neighbor (SYN) THEME LEAGUE
SYN League General Rules:
1. 12 Round Serpentine Draft
2. 1 Additional Round called the Screw Your Neighbor (SYN) Round. (discussed in detail below)
3. Advanced League/DH/Waivers/$90M/Progressive Drops/'14 Season (not unleashed)
4. Randomization will determine draft order.
5. 2 hour T.L. for each pick beginning in Round 2 (10am-midnight EDT) On weekends clock will expand to 6 hours, but does not stop.
7. Divisions randomized.
8. Remaining 13 players are Autodrafted. Drafted players are at the bottom of your draft cards.
Theme/Draft Rules:
1) Each Owner picks 1 Hitter AND 1 Pitcher in the first two rounds. Obviously if you take a hitter in Round 1, you would take a Pitcher in Round 2.
2) Each Owner owns the rights to the team from which his first pick is made for the first TWO rounds of the draft. For example: Lucas Duda is picked first. No succeeding Owner may take a Met player until after the first TWO rounds are completed. At the onset of Round 3 all players are fair game.
3) Your Stadium must be from the home park of one of your first two picks. If (this is important) you do not pick your stadium with your first pick, you MUST use the stadium from the team of your second pick. For example: Owner 1 with the Duda pick doesn't declare Citi Field as his park. He cannot pick Citi in Round 2. The only exception would be if he chose another Met player in Round 2. Then his park would obviously be Citi Field. PLEASE: Post park immediately with your player pick. If you fail to declare your Stadium within 10 minutes after your pick (or prior to next Owner's pick) you will forfeit your opportunity for that park. Please avoid problems by really adhearing to this rule.
Important: Owners do not own rights to teams of which players are picked in Round 2. For example: No one picked a Rays player in Round 1 and Longoria was picked during Round 2. Another owner could pick a Rays player during this round. Please ask for clarification if this rule is confusing you.
4) As previously stated, ALL players are eligible to be drafted AFTER Round 2.
5) There will be ONE additional Round after the 12 Round Live Draft called the Screw Your Neighbor Round. "SYN" for short. Please be ready to do this round when it happens.
6) Randomization will be done again on a day TBD just before the completion of Round 12. This SYN Round is a completely new order from the original draft.
Important: First Two players picked and the SYN Round pick cannot be dropped at anytime, nor can they be traded. All other players may be dropped later, but all draft picks must be put on your draft card.

* Each owner gets to pick ANY player drafted by another Owner that was picked after Round II. Once an owner loses a player, he cannot lose any more players. Therefore each owner loses a player, AND gains a player.
* The player(s) picked in the Screw Your Neighbor round CAN NOT be re-stolen during this round.
