The league leading team in HRs in this league has 173 HRs. My team has 43 HRs and is in last place in HRs but 1st place in the standings.

I believe Ty Cobb agreed with me that, HRs are overrated.

Ty Cobb wasn't exactly all-knowing God either. From all accounts, he was far from intelligent...and not much of a home run hitter.

Yes, as I already acknowledged in two posts, I am well aware teams can win in pitchers parks without home runs. That's why they call it small ball.

Here, however are some of my teams who well-benefited from home run production. This is my first 2014 team, which finished fourth in home runs (very close to 2nd) and made the finals:

And here is my third 2014 team that finished first in home runs--by a 44 hr margin--and also made the finals:

So, obviously home runs can also be very helpful to a team's success.
