Sure it's on a public forum, but it seemed like we were just a couple online strato fans sharing our views. Not sure how it all snowballed into something else.

When you posted this at the end of your last post, you definitely made me part of the topic:

We were discussing the right or wrong of SOM giving out information on managers' past teams. You, not I, were the one who decided to talk about me, personally, with your comment above. So, I was right when I told Robert that I didn't make myself the topic.

But, while it would have been better if you hadn't gotten personal, I, in no way, equate your doing so with the antagonistic troll posts of Verbal Warrior, Robert LaTorre, Steve F, and Wavy...they were the ones who snowballed it into something else. In other words, you and I are cool.

That's good. My comments were completely in jest.

Cool. I look forward to our future discussions and playing you in future leagues.

I never found that information because I asked you, Radagast, what it was. You were the one who said, as you said above, they gave out so much information. So, when you have the time, please share with us what that information is.

At TSN you could see how a manager did in every year the manager had played in. Number of seasons played, Number of years played, Winning percentage, Playoffs made, Championships made, Championships won, Percentage of teams that made the playoffs, Percentage of championships,Percentage of teams that won the championship for each year, or set of cards played. Depending on how many sets the manager had played in you could learn two dozen things about a GM.

If someone wants to spend that time dissecting every team of every guy in a league with them I would say they earned that information.

That's all the information the old managers ratings gave us. I thought you were going to show even more information they gave out. They clearly didn't give out every manager's old teams, which was smart of them.

I said they earned that, Radagast. Please try to read my posts before "disagreeing" with that with which you clearly agree. I posted this:
l.strether wrote: As I said in my last post, there is nothing wrong with managers drawing information from leagues in which they've played to predict another manager's picks. They've actually earned that information.

So, we're in definite agreement there. Those managers would have spent months, if not years, learning other managers' drafting tendencies. The managers who wouldn't earn that information would be those who just have it handed to them by SOM.

I love the game just the way it is , any changes they make are icing on my cake! You are an idiot for sticking around and playing a game you obviously do not appreciate. SOM could have (and almost did) go out of business years ago, I for one and very pleased they did not. Some seem to think SOM is a large corporation, THEY ARE NOT. SOM is a very small business that has survived despite all odds. Enjoy ! I sure do!

This 'Bozo' hasn't paid a dime in years due to winning credits. I don't think SOM is making gobs of money on this but they do it for the love.

I don't consider myself old but I do fart a lot. Probably because I like a Chipotle burrito in hand when I see the game replays. Their beans and I don't agree with each other.

That's one heck of a baroque supposition you have regarding my age and spending habits :)

I say this all with love and appreciate your passion. Pleasure to make your acquaintance!

>>OK Big guy. Enjoy your cake, don't get all riled up. We know what happens when you get riled up Mr.Brown.

You are an idiot for sticking around and playing a game you obviously do not appreciate.

>>I had 2 free credits for 3 years now and I finally decided to come back and see if anything has improved.
Thanks for the warm welcome back Mr.Brown. Glad to see this place isn't still filled with crusty old guys.

SOM could have (and almost did) go out of business years ago, I for one and very pleased they did not.

>>It would have been better if they did Mr.Brown. You were obviously not a business man before being put in the home good sir. You would be playing a much flashier, fancier version of this game right now. Instead we're all stuck in the 80's. It's O.K. Mr.Brown, you can sit back now and keep reliving those old memories of Mr.T and guns n roses.
You can go back to your own personal paradise city now Mr.Brown. I think your mushy peas are ready.

Some seem to think SOM is a large corporation, THEY ARE NOT. SOM is a very small business that has survived despite all odds. Enjoy ! I sure do!

>>It's O.K. Mr.Brown, no need to make excuses. They are doing the best they can, no need to stir the pot.

 Isn't it time for your nap now Mr.Brown? :?:

Thank you good sir. I too, love a good Chipotle burrito.

Your strange and elegant retort has my mind questioning what my ears have only begun to hear.

The consonance and dissonance of your words define a level of sweetness/harshness, pleasantness/unpleasantness, acceptability/unacceptability that only a true verbal warrior could throw down.
I feel like Francis of Assisi in genuflection. Where did you learn such grace?

My baroque supposition is the Triumph of the Immaculate of these forums. I'm so glad you noticed.

I thank you all for your emotional involvement. :!:
