When the Deja Vu league converted from a retro keeper to a standard one, the rules expanded. As the C'est La Vie League converts, following the 2013 and 2014 seasons, similar added rules would look like this:

- We will become a "standard" keeper league in 2016 -- playing with the 2015 card set -- with 2 seasons played per card set.

- Effective with the 2015 card set, we will start the annual free agent draft on April 15.

- Effective with the 2016 card set, we will arrange the draft sequence of the annual free agent draft with the order based on the combined win-loss records of the 2 seasons for each card set.

- Effective with the 2014* card set, we will hold a prospect draft after the annual free agent draft, with managers drafting up to 2 prospects per year -- prospects are those players who have never received a card yet and draft sequence will be random and serpentine.

- Prospects may be held indefinitely, until such time as a player receives a card, at which point the prospect must be either promoted or dropped -- with managers holding no more than 4 prospects at any one time.

- Effective with the 2015 card set, we will hold a supplemental draft between the 2 seasons, in which managers may drop and replace up to 2 players, with draft sequence based on the win-loss records of the first season -- managers may opt to not participate in the supplemental draft.

* The Deja Vu conversion timing would have called for the prospect draft to begin with the 2015 card set. Since many managers had not been drafting for the long-term (since this league had been scheduled to terminate after the 2014 card set), I believe it makes sense to start the prospect draft a year earlier, to help those with a sincere need for future talent.

SHALL THESE EXPANDED RULES BE ADOPTED FOR THE C'EST LA VIE LEAGUE?

1. tcochran - YES
2. willmurr24 - YES
3. Ninersphan - NO ( as written, see above)
4. thechamp87 - YES
5. Spider67 - no vote - I will not continue beyond the 2014 card set
6. WJS6768- YES
7. TPierceRSN - YES

Tom, you had already dropped Wieters, so you are now at 31 players on your roster.

The Winterhold Wood Elves request a name change do to the fact they were moved overnight to another city. (Going by the original rules, it looks like we can still change our stadiums in the off season)

We will be changing our team name to the Carbon County Crusaders (CCC). And, releasing our stadium rights for Citizens Bank Park. We will be drafting a stadium at the end of the FA draft.

With the pending move coming, we are also releasing the following 13 players.

1. E Kratz Catcher
2. C. Kothcman 1B (NC)
3. G. Beckham 2B
4. B. Ryan SS
5. M. Dominguez 3B
6. T. Colvin OF
7. Wan. Rodriguez SP (NC)
8. G. Moscoso SP
9. S. Johnson NC
10. T. Cahill SP
11. E. Frieri RP
12. T. Patton RP
13. V. Pestano RP

Rosters updated for the 2013 season at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1505005737

Note: This was done BEFORE MichaelGrammes' post.

In addition, this doc does not yet include changes in player's primary positions, if any.

The draft listings have been updated for trades, but not yet balanced against the number of players being dropped by each team.

And remember, in a retro keeper like this, you do NOT need to fill your roster to 40 players. You can declare it to be "full" at whatever level you'd like (max: 40). After this becomes a standard keeper, with promotable prospects, etc., then drafting to 40 will be required.
