In my mind, the '16 draft refers to the 2016 cards, not the calendar year 2016

So what does 2016 mean to you then? As that is how the deal was posted and confirmed? '16 is not mentioned anywhere in the offer.

Everywhere in the league file '14 = 2014 cards and not 2014 the year.

So what does 2016 mean to you? I made this deal with 2016 meaning the YEAR 2016, why would I go out 2 years for a deal, when you have picks next year? Doesn't make sense to me.

Any mention of the year whether written out or abbreviated with an apostrophe has always referred to the card year in this league so I assumed that when you said 2016, you meant the 2016 card draft and not the 2015 card draft. I don't want to make this into a big issue, but when I agreed to the deal I did think I was trading my pick that was 2 years out.
