Franky,
We don't all appreciate defense (especially in left field) like you do. But, we don't all win like you do...????????????

Joe, it will be an interesting experiment to see how McCovey does in left. I haven't figured out if outfielders with a high E rating really tend to have a lot of errors, but I remember seeing the fielding chart and thinking that there was a big difference between a "3" and a "4" in the outfield. Anyway, if Cash hits his '61 season it will look like the most brilliant strategy of the draft. And, yeah, I like defense, of my first 7 picks, 5 are "1" rated.

Franky, I've played a lot of bad fielders in rf and lf and I still can't tell how much it is hurting me. Of course I know I'm paying a price (and not just an increase in errors) but I just can't "quantify" it.

One thing you can pick up on in a live draft is who you are competing with for the same players vs. who has a different group of players that they like to pick from. Then when you go into autodrafts, you can see who the other managers are and know whether or not you need to adapt your draft card.

In this draft, DJ has been especially killing my draft card, but he is a few picks away from me so I have time to adjust. The other guys that also tend to take my planned picks are Franky, Paul, and Rob, who, in odd rounds, all pick immediately before me. I am hating the odd rounds. Back to the drawing board.

I'll have my pick in a few minutes.
