I think this confusing
I thought that if jeep took STL and Pujols highest card is with the Cards ,Jeep retains initial draft rights, so you as the Angels owner cannot put him on your card at all
then if Jeep fails to draft him and he is in FA pool or is drafted by Jeep and is later dropped into FA pool...then he becomes Angel eligible.
This eliminates any "tie breaker situation"
Then you misunderstood the whole concept of the league. The idea is you have to stack your auto draft to get the guys you want that may be on other teams.
That's the whole point of the league. So Carlos Beltran, for example, could be put on the draft card of potentially four managers, NYM, NYY, STL and SF and the auto draft would decide who got him. This is why the system not seeing every card as the same player is a problem and why we have to come up with this work around.
The only guys you have free and clear are guys that ONLY played for your chosen franchise.
