Assuming that the Marlins go undrafted as a team, does Hanley's Miami card become part of the player pool for the one round free agent draft ??

If it does not, I vote highest priced, if it does I vote option 2.

Actually if I read the rules right, Hanley would not be available in the way I describe, pays to read the rules I guess.

So highest value.

Ok, highest priced it is.

Again, by the rule, the team must draft and keep them.

Example, Jeep doesn't put Pujols on his draft list, and I draft the Angels. Say I go and put pujols cheaper card on my draft list. I would get him since Jeep didn't bother to draft him.

To get the higher priced card, that is just the tie-breaker, in case 2 franchises both want the same player. Either draft him, or lose him.

That said let's continue.

1. Frank - Detroit Tigers
2. Ninersphan - LA Dodgers
3. Ironwill - Yankees
4. LMBombers - Red Sox
5. Jeep - StL Cardinals

Clarify... again

That is the tie breaker for those whose cards are messed up, NOT ALL CARDS.

Hudson, Halladay, etc. Anyone whose cards are correct will go to autodraft winner as originally stated in rules.

This is only for the small % of cards that are messed up. MY previous example was not correct

If Jeep and I both drafte Pujols #1, whoever won him, will get him. Say someone takes ATL and SF and both draft Hudson. Say they both end up with Hudson on their team. The one that has the higher priced card wins him.

"Example, Jeep doesn't put Pujols on his draft list, and I draft the Angels. Say I go and put pujols cheaper card on my draft list. I would get him since Jeep didn't bother to draft him."

I think this confusing

I thought that if jeep took STL and Pujols highest card is with the Cards ,Jeep retains initial draft rights, so you as the Angels owner cannot put him on your card at all

then if Jeep fails to draft him and he is in FA pool or is drafted by Jeep and is later dropped into FA pool...then he becomes Angel eligible.

This eliminates any "tie breaker situation"

Then you misunderstood the whole concept of the league. The idea is you have to stack your auto draft to get the guys you want that may be on other teams.

That's the whole point of the league. So Carlos Beltran, for example, could be put on the draft card of potentially four managers, NYM, NYY, STL and SF and the auto draft would decide who got him. This is why the system not seeing every card as the same player is a problem and why we have to come up with this work around.

The only guys you have free and clear are guys that ONLY played for your chosen franchise.

I'm against this ONLY being for those with multiple ID's cuz we don't know exactly who those are. Unless someone wants to find them all and list em.

I think it should be highest $ card is who has Exclusive rights. Period. For ALL cards (and I think that's what many were thinking when they voted this option...as we discussed it hours ago)

and that still doesn't help in team selection since we cant tell for sure who has multiple IDs.

Any chance we just do something else with this set?

The simplest method is that the HIGHEST price card gets priority rights to the team he is on. Using the Pujols example he is property of Jeeps Cards. If for some reason he is left off then he can be picked up by the Angels and only his Angel cards can be used if the Angels are drafted. To start trying to find the cards that are not coded correctly is insane. Go High $$ card for the purposes of your draft card. Being that this is our first attempt at a mutliply 20XX League just keep it real simple.
