UH, Jeep don't know what you did, but there are quire a few more than the two non error cards you found. You won't use most of them as they are cheapie's but they have quite a few.

STL Problem cards:

Braden Looper - STL owns as MIL was not drafted
Kip Wells STL owns as KC and CIN not drafted
Russ Springer STL owns as TB not drafted
Octavio Dotel STL Owns over DET and ATL
Ron Villone NYY owns over STL
John Smoltz ATL owns over STL
Trevor Miller STL Owns as HOU and TB not drafted
Dennys Reyes STL owns as MIN not drafted
Jeff Suppan STL owns as MIL and SD no drafted
Arthur Rhodes FLA/MIA owns over STL

I'll do Texas and Washinton tomorrow and do the compilation post.

I give up trying to figure out this "problem card" thing.

Exactly, some of you guys are doing to much for what will be a small problem.

Just draft as you would do if there were NO problems, we only need to worry if the player ends up on two teams.

that's not true Geekor. As per our rules, if a guy has 2 cards he is already determined to belong to the highest team.

My example is Octavio Dotel. He has 2 cards. Thus his highest salaried card is what we use, that belongs to STL. But....if DET and STl both put him on their Autodraft list, then he could go to DET since one of his cards has Det and STL and the DET manager could have him in a higher spot on the card. But as per the rules, he is automatically property of STL. So in this case he wouldn't end up on 2 teams, but would end up on the wrong team. This is just one example.

This is very important as by the rules of higher card, STL shouldn't have to put him high up on their draft card. Are you saying this is not the way the rules are going to work.

If so, then all the posts about who has these multi-card players from ninersphan are in vain.

on a separate note:
edit: I just looked at Ross and it seems that they did put the Dave Ross and David Ross cards as one ID after all so scratch that earlier post.

Guys, I've made the rules clear. I understand some of you want ALL card to go highest to their owner and that wasn't the intent at the beginning.

Unless I get a clear majority wanting it that way (8 people) I'm not changing that part.

The autodraft will decide the winner on all cards, except on those where 2 people end up with the same player. In those cases the one owning the higher card wins.

If this is cause for league to start-over or disband, so be it, but that was my intent up front from the very beginning.

Now I'm off on another train (phone typing sucks) to go shopping here in Tokyo, check in later.

Paul, please read the above again (posted back on Page 9). Those rules are ONLY for when 2 teams (or more) that end up with the same player. That is the only time time that rule is used. The rest of the time the autodraft determines teh winner.

Just because you have the highest price of a player it doesn't mean you get him automatically. I.e Pujols card is NOT messed up, Teh Angels can place him as their #1 spot, and if they win the coin flip with STL, they get him.

That's why I said there was too much argument over a small % of issues. For 300 players drafted, there will be, what, a max of 10 of those?

It is not working how you are thinking, that's why Ninersphan has looked over the teams to determine the only problem cards.

Out of the 10 Cardinals' "problem cards" listed by Niners above, I'm not autodrafting any of those. I see what Geekor is saying and I'm completely fine with that.

Clarify this for me. I'm thinking this is an accurate statement:

Say someone is "exclusive" to me. For example, he played with the Cardinals and one other team. That other team wasn't one of the drafted franchises. "If" I don't put that player on my autodraft card, he cannot be picked up by someone else while he's in Free Agents because he would still belong only to me.

Is that accurate?

We have smart people here. So I'm pretty sure someone else has thought of what I'm fixing to say. We could leave players that are exclusive to our team off our draft cards, draft and rank players who was scrub for us while they had a good season with another Owner, thereby trying to block that Owner from receiving that players good card. Yes, we would have to keep that player on our rosters, but with the salary cap it would be pretty easy to do.

Jeep, that is my understanding as well. There's no way someone else can take players exclusive to you.
