I would disagree with that statement but am open to whatever.

We can vote on this. I am OK either way. Just different types of strategy.

FYI;
This would be a 1990’s $80M keeper’s league. Starts with a 5 round draft, 4 players and a Park (The park may only be used by one player in the league).
In subsequent seasons, each team will be able to protect 1-6 players with a value no greater than $25M. A one round draft in reverse order of the standings will be held after keepers and before the "SOM draft."
Divisions will be assigned randomly.

I am in. Joined a 90s keeper league that was already many seasons in progress. Hard to really make any decent changes since the teams that were originally in have pretty much all the top talent. I like the idea of the salary cap versus three players as keepers. I'd like to see if I fare better when I can start a team from scratch in the 90s along with everyone else.

Jayhawk has convinced me. The first round will be for Parks. Using the sequence suggested here.

Round 1: 1-12
Round 2: 12-1
Round 3: 1-12
Round 4: 12-1
Round 5: 12-1

Any other suggestions/ideas? Thanks.

Ditto ducky's comments. I'm in a 60's where I didn't draft well in the initial draft. Since the best 33 players are always on a roster the only way to improve much is hoping someone cuts one of those guys during the season and you can get him. Of course you have to be out of it to grab someone having an off year.

I'm not sure $25M is the right number but, that can be adjusted as we go. Thanks for the interest!

25M allows you to keep the two highest priced players on your roster.

I am OK with this, as long as we have a reasonable number for max # of players.

Hmm…. Perhaps my brain is not working properly here (which is entirely possible), but wouldn't this draft sequence play heavily in the favor of whoever had the No. 12 pick as far as the player pool is concerned?
It looks as if they would have the pick of the litter in round 2 (Which is essentially round 1 for players), Round 4 and Round 5.

Thanks,
-Austin
