Well, Turtle, that certainly was a non sequitur responding to none of the preceding posts. Anyway, you're wrong about the MLB draft. Firstly, millions of MLB fans and Fantasy Baseball players pay great attention to and often watch the MLB draft, which is now televised.
Secondly, many players drafted in the MLB draft help their teams much quicker than in a few years. The Royals drafted Brandon Finnegan in the first round last year, and he was up and helping them in months...even in the playoffs. The White Sox drafted Carlos Rodon last year as well, and he is now probably their second best starter. There have been many other players--such as Mike Leake, who never played in the minors--who spent little time in the minors after being drafted.
Also, even if those players do take awhile, they are still the specific future of the franchise. They are not playing in some college, waiting to be drafted by anybody. My team, the Giants, completely made themselves through the draft, particularly their first rounders like Cain, Lincecum, Posey, Bumgarner, and Panik. So, any devoted baseball fan, particularly, fantasy baseball fans or those involved with games using prospects, should--and usually do--keep track of the MLB draft and the players drafted in it.
Anyway, the topic of the thread was the 2015 MLB draft, not drafts in general, and my predictions for them. If you didn't notice, I actually got 7 of the first 8 right. So, if you're an in-depth baseball fan and can actually comment on the specific thread topic, please do.
