Jeep's Quick Draft (New Rules!) (07-14 set)

These new rules are more simple and more fair. This will be a "Quick Draft" theme league. You draft your entire team in five rounds. I'm confident this format is better than the original rules, thus hopefully mustering up more interest. Rules are simple, yet fair.

NEW RULES!

Round 1: Each Owner draft 5 hitters and their park. Park MUST be from team of one of your 5 players.
Round 2: Each Owner drafts 5 pitchers
Round 3: Each Owner drafts either 5 hitters OR 5 pitchers. Round 3 same order as Round 2. (ex.below)
Round 4: Each Owner drafts opposite of Round 4. For ex, hitters in Round 3, pitchers in Rd 4.
Round 5: This Round will be re-randomized. After Rd 4 we'll do another randomization for draft order. You're drafting the remaining 5 players to fill your 25 man roster. Per Strat's roster requirements for the autodraf it will be 4 hitters and 1 pitcher.

Synopsis of Rounds:
Rd 1: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Rd 2: 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Rd 3: 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Rd 4: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Rd 5: Re-randomized

Other Notes:

1 - When drafting, each Owner will have have exclusive rights to all players he drafted as long as he is on your roster. If he's ever dropped he's fair game first come first serve. Trades allowed.

2 - Everyone must obviously be w/i cap when they draft their 25 man roster. Any violations would be dropping most expensive player. That player would be available through waivers. I'm confident no one would be over cap.

3 - Draft players at any salary as long as you're within cap. Any player card can be used regardless of team affiliation.

4 - Liberal 3 Hour Time Limit 11-11 EDT. You get one freebie: You'll only get skipped after 2nd infraction.

1. how will we keep tract of which players are still available?
2. are trades allowed?
3. how will we handle if someone drafts 25 players and the total is above 100m? Will they simply have to eliminate some players, select from players which are available, and then these players will be available for all?
4. are there waivers (i.e., it's not frenzy)?

Saw a couple of errors I made and fixed.

Stratfanatic:

1 - I always keep a "players taken" thread in my drafts. Very simple to know who has been picked.

2 - Yes & I added this to rules section

3 - I'm confidnt everyone will stay within cap, but have made a rule (above) that the highest salaried player would have to be dropped in that case.
