Abreu/Carlos Gomez or McCutchen/Pujols?

So yes, Kiermaier/R Davis seems like a better purchase than Stanton, but not by much. And my ratings assume a 70/30 lefty/righty ratio---Stanton becomes the better choice at an increased level of lefty pitching.

However, if I had those players and Stanton were available, and my team was malleable, I would make the moves to get Stanton.

Using Dean Carrano's formulas (and Marc's OF arm ratings ) I compared Nieuwenheis and Stanton in AT&T park vs RHP
(per 108 AB):

Stanton:

Offensive runs created was about 19.8/108 ab. Defensively, he gets a 1.9 for range and a -1.2 for so his arm so he loses about .7 runs for his defense. So total rating would 19.1

19 runs created. He loses about 2 runs for his defense. Both of them had very gb(A) so I did not subtract for DP and I did not factor in steals (because I did not think it would make a big deal, either).

So offensively they would be about the same with Stanton getting an edge on defense. Of course , Stanton costs 6 million more.
