Not sure how long it will last, but had a pretty good start so far! In 1st place with 2 game lead......Stanton on pace to hit 50+ homers!!!

Currently almost 1/3 of the way through the season, and my team is the top team in the league and has a 6 game lead in the division.
After many recommendations to change the rotation, only Vance Worley has an era over 4.11. Had a few suggestions that I needed a CLOSER, yet no "closer" in the league has as good numbers as my Andrew Miller!!
Quite happy to date, will see what the next 1/3 of the season has to offer!!

I am surprised you have not blown more saves since you don't have a closer.

Great job...I've often gone with closers with no more than a C2 too...just like real life, they tend to be overrated

Keep up th winning!

A closer is not required. A relief pitcher that gets hitters out will do!

Hey Big. We have a GBBR League up and running. One of the players has opted out. Couldn't get a hold of you for the 1st league. But you are always welcome in the LOTO/GBBR Leagues. Hope you and family are well. Robert ;)

I agree Big.....in the 1999 season Billy Wagner is not a "closer" but does incredible!! Andrew Miller in 2014 is the same. He will pitch 150 innings for me......

You have Stanton, Cano, Abreu, Gomez, Werth, and Carpenter in Miller on a 100 m team; as well as a solid Miller Park pitching staff. So, I have no idea why someone told you you "couldn't win." Whoever did so was either messing with you or is clueless. I'm not surprised your team is doing well at all.

Here is what I was told, by a member of the same league who is tied for 1st in his division but has the 5th best record (8 wins less than me):

"Here's a tip for you. This level of play has much to do with the pitching. More so than the ATG8 where Christy Mathewsons can go 7-20 with 1.6 WHIP's. Good pitching wins here. mediocre or less pitching loses"

"You'll score some, but that pitching...yow!!! try to improve that in the frenzy"
