We still need 1 more Robert. Big already had his team loaded. Jerlins is loaded now so that leaves 2 spots with DJ one of them.

Not sure if you guys are sending out invites, but I can reach out to mesquiton, Spider or visick, if someone wants me too. They would all make excellent additions...

I'm sure Robt would be good with any of those picks.

Yes. Anyone that someone in the league knows and is cool and competitive. I just like to keep the off the field antics respectful. But brutal, bloody, fierce, old school competition is welcome between the lines.

For instance, its ok to come into 2nd with sharpened spikes flying. And its ok to clothesline the same runner the next time he tries it. It's ok to throw fastballs way inside to hitters crowding the plate. Throwing behind the batter will result in a 1 game suspension. Just hit em' you pussy! If you do get hit, just take your base or charge the mound. But leave the bat behind...Be a man, for chrissakes. (Unless the pitcher is Nolan Ryan - You may need more than a bat.) Mgrs are allowed to kick dirt on umpires shoes, jaw face to face with them and take one of the bases and heave it into the outfield after being thrown out. But no hitting.

Hitting is reserved for the brawl afterward. This is referred to as the "boys will be boys rule." Anything that gives you a competitive edge is acceptable unless you get caught. No steroids, human growth hormones, PCP, STDs, S & M, M&Ms or DVDs allowed. Reflective sunglasses are ok for starting pitchers.

Remember, this is the fan's game. And there will be kids in the stands. Fans are allowed to heckle opposing road teams all they want. Fans of the opposing team are allowed as well. But there are signs everywhere to heckle with discretion. We are not responsible for our fans actions like tossing you off one of the decks. This is referred to as the NY/Boston, LA/SF rule.

Hey, lets just have fun guys! afterall, its only a game.

Oh, 1 more thing. Any player who brings a smartphone, tablet or computer into the dugout will serve a 1 week suspension without pay. Anyone caught tweeting during a game will be banned from baseball for life.

BTW, these have been the unwritten "Old School Rules" of LOTO and GBBR leagues. We've never really had to write them down before because we all knew them. But for the sake of our younger owner/Mgrs, I thought I'd write them down just this one time. :D  8-) ;)

Well, with one team left to fill, I look at the names signed up and get a little nostalgic. This will actually be my first non keeper league team in over a year. I have no clue, who the popular picks are, or even the bargains in the set. But it should be a fun and incredibly challenging league. This group is surely the cream of the crop in SOM online. Scary
