Private Leagues

I feel like I'm trying to invite myself to a party after not receiving an invitation. Just curious though: I see a lot of interesting private leagues FORMING from time to time that need an extra player. Is there a way to beg for an invite via message board or e-mail?

a Private Message on these boards to the League Creator sometimes works!!! That is how I got into a league that just wrapped up.....
