Just heard from Doug Elke. He's in the hospital in Edmonton, had some serious issues, but is on his way to recovery. He only got his Strat contact book back today, so he hasn't been able to call anyone.

For any repeater leagues he is part of, he won't have computer access for a little while. If anyone left a telephone message at his house, he hasn't had access to that service either.

He sounded positive and promised to let us know as soon as he is out.

Doug has had more than his share of health issues in recent months and has had a difficult time as a result of health issues of some family members as well. Here's wishing Doug not only a speedy recovery, but an extended period of good health for him and those close to him as well.
