Help?

PostMon Jul 06, 2015 11:11 pm

In a 200m league, my home park is League 34...there are four other big lefty parks and 4 other bomber parks with a neutral park and two Petco parks

Eddie Matthews in 168 abs is hitting .149

and get this....in 95 abs vs righties he's hitting .115

that's taking unusual or unlikely to a new level.

Should I cut him and just go with Buck Weaver at 3b because at least he's bulletproof and he can't hit any worse than that?

I don't know but I am in a 200 million league and after 150 batters Ed Ruelbach has 60% of the rolls has fallen on the hitters cards and even though he doesn't have a home run on his card in 150 at bats he has had 12 HR's hit off of him. I think maybe there is a flaw in the programming and Eddie Mathews hitting card is in place of Ed Ruelbach's pitching card and Ed Ruelbach's pitching card is being used as Eddie Mathews hitting card

I think I would drop him down in lineup for a while. That has to just be bad luck and the card will be what it is in the end.

Nev - what is the roll differential? I've seen guys not hit or pitch well and a lot of it has to do with where the rolls are falling. Or it has nothing to do with it ;)

Nev: Perhaps the 97 runs in 3 games karma has caught up with you! One thing I like about HR hitters, even if the average is down, they usually still hit their share of HRs and get their share of RBI. Singles hitters, not so much.

87/99 hitter card/pitcher card...so that has something to do with it.

7 Hrs 21 rbi

Ugly numbers for a bunch of em considering the park and other parks in the league

Giambi in 90 abs hitting .200

Delgado in only 53 abs hitting .189

and speaking of hitter card/pitcher card rolls what would be mucho informative is what they are hitting off their own card and hitting of the pitchers' card yes?

Could be you just need to send him to AAA for a few weeks. Worked for Rangers on Odor. Guy has returned a different hitter. Or find that hitting coach that worked with Cubs third baseman those 12 days .....

Yes, INCREDIBLY helpful!!!

That would at least give us a better idea of how crazy or sane things are.
