Does the highest priced card on the team in the league control? For example, A-Rod's highest priced card is with Texas. If Texas doesn't get picked, do the Yankees then own the rights to A-Rod, or is A-Rod a free agent?

Because his high card belongs to Texas, their non-selection makes him part of the FA pool by league rule. For this league's purpose, only a player's high card matters; if he played for one other or five other squads it is immaterial for us.

Vinnie: Based on Harry's response to my prior question, which used A-Rod as a hypothetical example of the highest priced card not being on any selected team, it would appear that Maddux is a free agent, since his highest priced card is not on any selected team
