Barnes is a free agent;I'll update the picks.

Barnes is, apparently though, related to somebody at Strat; how does a guy with so few at bats make an all-time great list at such an elevated salary?

Ha, Harry! Mt friends and I first started playing the SOMBB board game with the 1971 set of cards in response to a disagreement over who would make the best baseball manager. The argument remains unsettled today! One thing we did agree on, though, was that Don Sutton must've been related to someone at SOM, as we always all thought that every year throughout the '70s that he had better cards than he deserved! Your comment about Barnes reminded me of our comments about Sutton 40+ years ago.

As for Barnes, he was apparently troubled by illness and had to retire very young - 30 or 31 I believe; there were people that thought he could have been one of the greats - his numbers were certainly great for the year in which he has his card - but his overall career shouldn't get him an 11 mil plus Strat card!

Apparently, Harry is on a flight to New Guinea to meet Bill!
