It is unbelievable that mister-he-who-disrupts-almost-every-thread-he-ever-participates-in has the chutzpah to accuse someone else of disrupting a peaceful thread. Check that. No, sadly it's typical. Coyote was obviously unable to make an argument for his definition of "normalization." What a shock; actual arguments aren't his strong point. And it's very cute he accuses me of condescension, then proceeds to call me "mr........" He's never quite understood hypocrisy and contradictions..

HIs forgetting he disrupted this peaceful thread also speaks poorly of his memory. And he forgets he was the one who tried to make the thread about me, not I. So, again, the hypocrisy is glaring. I can only hope he stops addressing me with his sad, contentious ravings. It will definitely make things much more peaceful...and sane.

Not sure how a supposedly intelligent person like lil strether is struggling to understand the normalization that people have complained about in the past. Normalization is the "improve statistical accuracy" setting, which is turned off. This setting is based on the accumulation of stats from previous games.

The "correct board game excesses" setting has nothing to do with the stats a player accumulated in previous games. This setting is, as the example mentions, that guys like Maddux would get less walks off of the hitters card during a given game to help his card produce closer to his real life pitching. Simply putting zero walks on the Maddux card is not enough to produce the walk ratio that Maddux had in many of his seasons. Another example would be to have batters that hit very few triples, not get two or three in a game off of the pitchers card.

Seems very easy to understand to me. Not sure why anyone of reasonable intelligence would be at such a loss to see the difference between the two separate settings.

Just reinforces my evaluation of this persons past forum inputs. The teacher is a very, very good writer but struggles at understanding and comprehending other persons style of writing and communication, leading to unnecessary conflict.

Dude simply can not handle a little debate with any person with a higher IQ than his so he immaturely calls me a stalker even though I have not responded to any of his posts for around two months. After pointing out flaws in his posts over and over he puts me on foe and makes believe I'm stalking him. Any time his lack of comprehension is pointed out, he takes his ball and goes home like an eight year old.
