Note that the only way that I won't be successful in getting my 15 core players in the autodraft, is if one of the core players that I picked was also carded to one of the other league franchises during 1968-1994. If there is an error committed by another player, then I can ask the commissioner to fix the error for me, by waiver drop or trade, at my preference, subject to the league rules.

As I understand the rules, you could fail to get 15 core in the autodraft more ways than that. As I understand it for example Robin Yount (if not picked in the 5 round draft by the Brewer franchise owner) could be drafted by anyone. In essence everyone outside of the 120 is eligible to be drafted by any team regardless of whether they played for them. Isn't that correct?

That's correct, except that you MUST use your first autodraft selections to select your 15 core players (or more if you want). It's only after these first autodraft selections are posted that you may select other non-core players in your later autodraft selections (i.e. later ranked autodraft picks are for free agents).

BTW, I just decided to expand the available player pool to include 1995 (as well as 1994), so that the Seattle Mariners (who have a thinner player pool) can potentially use a couple of their ace relievers from 1995. I've updated the rules to reflect this change.

Roster restrictions -

1. At least 15 players must be carded to your own franchise for one of the years between 1968 and 1995 inclusive, at all times. You can use (and draft) a different "card year" for that player - i.e. other than the year that he played for your franchise - as long as he played and was carded to your team in the ATG8 set for any year between 1968 and 1995 inclusive. These will be referred to as "core franchise players".

Are players cards eligible that fall outside the 68-95 window but that have cards within that window. Barry Bonds for example, carded to Pit '92 and SF '93, but also SF 2001. Is his 2001 card eligible?
