Never ahd Davis b/4.
Playing in Oakland and have Carew, Madlock (in his .341 yr) Lynn and R Jackson.
Would ED perform better in the leadoff, w/ Carew 2, Lynn 3 Jackson 4 Madlock 5; or bat him 4th w/ Carew/Madlock at #1/2?

I play Davis at cleanup because he has good power, doesn't have many dp. Then I look for a #5 hitter with high BA and good clutch.
