MAJOR MISCUE that needs to be fixed before season starts.

Geoff, since it seems that you have a good relationship with SOM, I'll leave it to you.

I just noticed that the Golden ERA set has all the incorrect ratings for the 1994 Montreal Expos. Cordero, for example, is listed at ss-4e34 instead of what it should be 3e33.

(it may be the case that, despite what is listed, Cordero will play like a ss-3 and not like a ss-4, but it would be nice to be settled before season starts).

Yikes. Thanks for catching that Marc. I'll email STRAT to sort it out!

The Red Sox will be tough- I predict a repeat of the '75 series.

But since Bagwell was owned by the Boston RedSox, I'm sure we can find a middle ground to change the rules... :P

On another note, the management is proud to get back from retirement "the other" Joe Morgan as their Golden ERA Red Sox head coach. Joe was coach for the Red Sox between 1988 and 1991. He won his first 12 games in 1988, replacing McNamara as an interim coach before getting officially the job. He also lost 8 consecutive playoffs games, all against Oakland. "That's a legacy I want to change", he said. "Turnpike Joe" has already made his first decision: Roger Clemens to start on Opening Day!!

Joe Morgan's second decision just announced: any discussion or question from journalists involving Margo Adams is strickly prohibited in the clubhouse!

Marc, there was a problem with the fielding ratings in the Excel sheet download for 7 of the Expos batters, but they've since fixed it. If you re-download the file you should see the right ratings. Is that what you're referring to?

I'm not referring to the Excel file. Rather, compare:

Regular set: http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/pl ... m/281/1471

Golden era set: http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/pl ... /3818/1471

Cordero, Lansing, Fletcher, Webster...the 1994 players with the Golden era have the incorrect ratings. I could be interested in drafting Lansing to complete my infield if he's a 2, but not if he's a 3.

Of course you are correct. I never should've doubted you!
Walker, Milligan & Sean Berry are wrong as well. The ratings in the Golden Era set match the old spreadsheet before they fixed it.

Geoff, just contact Strat with the players whose ratings are off. They will be able to make the change.

It looks like they're already corrected.
