Everyone should note that the spreadsheets I've sent had the old (higher), incorrect fielding rating for short stop Will Cordero of the Expos.

It sounds like there was more than 1 fix, so everyone please make sure you check the player cards online, if you're using the spreadsheets.

A pleasant update:

This is going to be a very nice league, credits wise, despite the fact that only the division winners make the playoffs (as it was between 1969 and 1993):

Division winners - 1 credit each
World series loser - 1 extra credit
World series winner - 2 extra credits

plus

the 4 teams with the best records in the entire 24 team league who *don't* make the playoffs will be awarded 1 credit each. For the purposes of these 4 extra credits, the standard strat tie-breakers will be applied, which are (1) head-to-head record, or in the event of a three way tie, divisional record, (2) total run differential for all games played, or (3) random selection.

(For these extra credits, I'm essentially donating the extra credits that I won in my first 2 PC tourney teams (a small brag there), with thanks to all of the great strat gamers who have been mentors to me over the past 8 years!).

No, not yet. I think I should wait until tomorrow morning, and then we should move on, for the sake of everyone else.

You play each team in your division 12 times. You play every other team 6 times, except for 2 non-divisional teams (randomly determined) which you play only 3 times in the year.

In terms of timing of games/series, the divisional games are scattered throughout the schedule, instead of being grouped at the beginning and end of the schedule. To me, 24 team leagues always feel more like real MLB baseball in that way at least (and in other ways too, I think).

One thing to look out for is that 1 team will get the dreaded 36 of 1st 45 games on the road....
