1. @MIKEGILBERT- that's better for Cardenes, I would have just used him as a cheap roster spot. Never tried that platoon before (w/Walling) sounds interesting.

Boo to you for taking my Astros in the first place- that team looks like it will be a lot of fun to run, despite that really tough dvision. (Cin, LA, SF...sheesh).

2. I agree with Yountfan, the non-serpentine draft would fix most of this stuff.

Hey, Paul, I understood from the rules that no trade was possible for the top 15 players. Did I get this right? You might reconsider your choice if this is so.

I think he is ok to trade as long as he still has a core of 15 players. Bosman is one of his core players now but can be traded as long as there is a player to replace him as a core player.

no. from the rules, we can trade after the AutoDraft is run, but must trade in a way that we still have 15 core players at all times. Bosman is a "core" player of mine now, don't think he counts as a core player for anyone that I trade him to though.

so, for me to trade him, I have to have enough core A's players. so i'll have to come out of the Autodraft/Waivers with 16 core/A's guys. Probably be easier after waivers. but Bosman's a damn good pitcher, so maybe I'll keep him....but I think someone could use him in the #2 or #3 spot in their rotation.

Question not sure I've seen this addressed, how soon after the draft do we have to get signed up into the League 24hours? Would be nice to evaluate the leftovers as well as who I can steal in rounds 16-25 Also has anyone started a team and begun filling in your roster?
