Description: Geoff's Golden Era League. Slots 1-5 are players picked in 5 round draft. Autodraft rankings (slots) 6 to 15 MUST be players carded to your team and NOT picked by ANYONE in the 5 round draft. Slots (rankings) 16-25 in the autodraft can be carded to ANY team but cannot have been picked in the 5 round draft. Divisions load in historical divisions, with the exception of the Milwaukee Brewers, who have been assigned to the American League West. DH is used by both AL and NL.

It will ruin the draft for everyone if even 1 guy messes up his AD card.

Please make sure your rankings on your autodraft card follow this format:

spots 1-5 MUST BE your free agent draft picks
spots 6-15 MUST BE players carded to your franchise
spots 16-25 can be anyone not picked in the free agent draft.


just noticed I repeated Geoff from above. oh well..... gotta be sure.

As long as all of us get our 1-15 picks correct we should be fine. Example: If someone missed seeing a free agent pick by someone else and drafted that player in round 16 the original team should still get them if they made that player one of their first 5 picks. I am sure that like most of you my 16th pick (and maybe later ones too) is an attempt to poach....I mean select a player carded to another team that I think may not be a top 15 pick. If I accidently made one of the drafted free agents my 16th round pick that would simply be a wasted pick for me. Please correct me if I am wrong.

you are correct. just gotta make sure no one is using their "poach" picks before #16 on their autodraft card.

May kick myself for not picking Texas. A few more hitters and what looks like an easier division but no * pitchers carded to them scared me away. Senators fan growing up so I usually pick Texas if I have a chance and draft low like I did in this league. Cleveland gives me a change of pace and no way is Albert Belle going to use a corked bat in this league. Don't even check, just trust me.

Thanks to gbrookes for setting this up, should be fun even with my team. Good luck to everyone in the other 3 divisions, may the AL East receive horrible rolls every time.

i think someone showed you where to go to see everyone's AD card (after the AD has run) so we don't need to send you a copy of ours or anything, right? (for resolving issues/disputes)

just need Marc/Red Sox and the East is full.
