Valen, I thought they should have stuck with Tolleson today. What do you think?

Sorry, just now saw this.
I did not think they should have had Tolleson in there at all. Was his 5th straight day to pitch. Apparently they thought they were using a strat card instead of a human being. I would have went with someone else and only used Tolleson as last resort. What I found most interesting is they called up another pitcher after that game. Think it was Patten. What I do not understand with expanded rosters and AAA playoffs over why they did not already have all hands on deck.....

Also interesting they went with Dyson to save game 1 against the Jays. Cannot help wondering if there is some residual fatigue for Tolleson after the overuse or if maybe lost a little confidence in Tolleson for whatever reason. Of course could be Bannister looked at number of HRs Tolleson has given up combined with HR hitters Toronto has and has decided Dyson and his ability to sink the ball would be a better choice to close. Game 2 bullpen usage should shed some light.
