Remember in waivers and FA, letter for letter drop/add and must keep exactly 25 all season.

The problem is, even if I stick him with Q and move on, he's right back again after 3 picks. Say I stick him again, then what? Do that the rest of the draft?

He just had surgery so I was hoping he was just resting on pain meds sleeping and would be back today. I guess not.

I really hope there were no complications and he's doing well, that's actually my biggest concern.

But what do you all think? give him his letters and move on with the rest of the draft? Attempt to find a replacement? Wait?

I agree. I know this is frustrating for all of us, but he's been a good long-time competitor and I think deserves our understanding and patience.

For the record, didn't mean to come off as insensitive. I've had four surgeries and it's always worst the days after than immediately after, primarily due to the meds you're on at the hospital. They haven't worn off yet.

It's just a little frustrating checking in a lot, I thought we might want to set a deadline, but that's fine if the gameplan is to just wait.

I could probably get my son to step in if needed, even just to do the draft. He's got a fair amount of experience with this, both on-line and with the board game so he wouldn't be a liability or anything. In fact, he won the 2007-2014 AL Franchise League recently, sweeping LMB in the semi-finals along the way.
